Kits at Your School
Through images and activities, students will explore the life and legacy of Tsleil-Waututh Chief Dan George. Themes include the significance of his acting career, activism and his efforts to preserve local Indigenous traditions. This Kit includes lesson plans which encourage discussion and critical thinking.

A recently released fully-illustrated, limited edition book, looks at the history, traditions and culture of the Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh peoples. Researched by Squamish author and language teacher Khelsilem (Dustin Rivers) with NVMA staff members, this book highlights significant aspects of traditional and contemporary cultures here. The Book and Teaching Package will be provided electronically. This program is available in French and English.
